About Darren Doyle and Studio DD

Darren Doyle Darren At Work

Still hung up on computer programs and leather sofas? What about the person behind the controls? At Studio DD, you can skip to the bottom line, thanks to owner Darren Doyle. Darren started a professional music career right out of high school. While touring all over the U.S. and Canada with two different well-known Southern Gospel Quartets, he performed frequently on the world famous "Grand 'Ol Opry." While studying under renowned voice teachers, he became a very accomplished vocalist, and quickly developed a deep knowledge of music theory.

He later helped form a regional favorite band, "Dry Land Fish," as a vocalist, lead guitarist, and song writer. He arranged all the vocal and instrumental parts, as well as produced all of the band's recordings. Since age 6, he's been able to become a studio-session quality instrumentalist, not only guitar, but piano, bass, and drums. If you look long enough, you might find a better player, but you'll be hard pressed to find a studio engineer with his ability--and that's far more important than a computer program and leather sofas.
